Customer brought me a LoPrinzi dreadnaught 70's...to do a neck reset. Anyone know if it is a dovetail and what type of glue he used? Thanks... |

Don't know for sure but I would offer an educated guess that it's a dove tail. No harm in "lifting..." the 15th fret, drilling a hole or two in search of the dovetail pocket. If you find one then you know, if not perhaps visit your local vet and ask for an X-ray. Martin had a strong influence on LoPrinzi so I suspect a dovetail. |

mine has a dovetail but...... when removing the neck i discovered it was also bolted on:( the nut was covered by a slice on the neck block .. totally invisible i'd opt for an x-ray. talked to lo prinzi about it . his reply was ' yea some do some don't' |

I've reset 3 LoPrinzi dreds, all DT's, none bolted. Guess I got lucky. They all came off nicely. |
